New Pixar Up trailer now… er.. Up!

Jessica Barnes from Cinematical says (be warned she confesses to have never watched a Pixar movie from start to finish):

The film will mark Pixar’s 10th animated feature film, and the story has been compared to a re-telling of Don Quixote. It centers on a man in his late 70′s who joins up with a befuddled park ranger for some sort of adventure. The official description from Pixar describes our hero as the kind of guy who ‘travels the globe, fights beasts and villains, and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon’ — aww, I’m sold on the cuteness already. But then again, I guess I’m not the best judge when it comes to Pixar.

Happy New Year 2009 – Electrabel style

Found this neat spot via Feed (click image to play), reminds me of those Guiness Record Breaker attempts, only with a bigger headache.

The fine people at Czar in Brusselles embrace their inner-pyromania for one of the best holiday-themed clips ever. Such an incredibly labor-intensive project with such calm and delightful results. Agency: Famous, director Raf Wathion,  production Czar, music and sound design: Sonicville. Thanks to vmuriel for the tip and NoFat Clips for the credits.

Sneak a peak at the new Sliced Bread website

So it is true, we do have a new site on its way, and so far we have recieved a very positive reaction to all who have had a chance to see it. Below are some early release visuals, we are looking to luanch around mid-January.  Check back for further updates.

9.99 Trailer

Great post by Jerry over at Cartoon Brew:

I caught an advance screening of Tatia Rosenthal’s $9.99 (Thank you, Asifa-Hollywood) a few weeks ago, and it’s a remarkable film. Smart, funny and at the same time, deadly serious – it stands with Ari Folman’s Waltz With Bashir, Bill Plympton’s Idiots and Angels and Nina Paley’s Sita Sings The Blues as the advance guard of the coming wave of independently made adult animated features.

The film opens Friday (12/12) in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Music Hall on Wilshire Blvd. It’s absolutely worth seeing and highly recommended.

I think it looks great too and will look forward to seeing it when it comes to the UK.

Christmas games . . . of Christmas past

Because we are busy developing our new site, we unfortunately don’t have time to do a Christmas game this year . . . so like one of those cheap episode of Friends where the hobble together a show made up of others, we bring the best of Christmas games past . . .

Private Office Party (your all time favourite of all time!)

3D Crimbo (you’ll need those glasses for this one)

Burger King Pacman

PwC Advent Calendar (the competitions over by the way!)
